Why did my hair fall out?
This morning at school my friend pointed out a bald spot near the base of my head, right above where the hair starts on my neck. It's a clean spot, it feels really smooth, and it;s oblong vertical, about half the size of my fist.
I haven't been super stressed, my diet's regular, but i haven't been drinking water as often as i used to. And, i would have felt it if it was ripped out or anything, and it doesn't seem to have been shaved, like from a prank (besides, i'm too light of a sleeper). Baldness doesn't run in the family.
So, I need possible reasons why this could have happened. I feel really embarrased, and i'm worried. Please help? Thanks.
There are other causes for this besides diet.
Alopecia can occur at any age, or it could be caused by a fungus or other environmental factor.
I would suggest talking to a doctor. You need an exam. Nobody here can give you the answer you need.
